Rajmachi still remains as one of the most sought after trekking destination for it’s a perfect mix of history with nature. There are a couple of route to the top. You can take the Tungarli route which is a bit longer and may take around 6 hours through the rocky trek routes. The route via Karjat is shorter and takes about 5 hours to reach the top. There another alternative route via Konda caves with Buddhist architecture or take the shortest route via Kharvandi village. There are two peaks and can be considered as two different forts. One on Shrivardhan and the other on Manoranjan. If you really want to enjoy Rajmachi, visit it in the monsoon and you will fill yourself with the natural beauty this place has to offer. Once you reach the fort, you will realize the climb was really meaningful. The panaromic view from the top is simply a natural wonder for the entire Konkan plateau is visible from the top. This is a long trek though you will not gain a lot of height, it’s still a 18km one way walk. Some folks love to do a night trek here, which is real fun. You will come across trees full of fireflies which will sparkle you eyes. But do remember, it’s a long trek and you better be prepared with extra pair of batteries for your torch.

Not to Miss- Lush green forest, waterfall during monsoon. There ae many hidden caves specially on the back side of Manranjan. Trekkers are allowed to go and explore these caves. We will not give you the exact location of tese caves for the real fun is in finding them.
