They say that it is an easy trek for amateurs, we say ‘Prove It’. Lohagad will quench the thirst of the new aspiring trekkers as well as those who are looking for a relaxing and scenic trek. Being an easy grade trek, your endurance will not be put to test. As soon as you reach the 2nd village of Lohagadwali the steps up the Lohagad Fort starts. Though it an an easy climb, the time required to reach the top is around 2,5 to 3 hrs. It is because of the altitude of the Fort, which is situated at an amazing 3500ft above sea-level. If you visit Lohagad in monsoon, there is an amazing waterfall at Bhaje Gaav, not as big as the Nigra Falls but beautiful enough to peace your eyes and body.
